### 1 Comment. ### Add your comment here. I guess it makes sense that little Humphrey is on the logo; but isn't his fur a little fluffier than that? Any thought to: It's all in //here// somewhere? -- Yatima 2009-06-15 06:46 UTC ---- Yeah, that might be a good word change. I'm also thinking of adding some indication that it has to do with the Wake, so it's not totally final yet. I just got excited about it and wanted to share. :-> -- MartyHaleEvans 2009-06-15 06:50 UTC ---- Yeah, release early and often. It's the open culture way. -- [http://ron.ludism.org RonHaleEvans] 2009-06-15 06:52 UTC ---- Would it be possible to replace the scales of Theodoros Pelecanos's Ouroboros (currently known, at Alf or Rabbit Fun Feral, as Ourobarkos) with kind of watery wave motion kind of scales for some sense of that aspect of "wake" -- and FW's general wetness? (But not an alarm clock astride a coffin-shaped speed boat (a cigarette boat ?) with trailing water vortexes.) -- Yatima 2009-06-16 01:51 UTC ---- I meant to ask about the central "E" (which can also be seen, fittingly, as a "C"): are you thinking of flipping it so that the "E" faces in the normal direction (and the "C", too, of course")? I can't remember if there is significance to the reversed sigma "E". And how about the rotated tines-up green "E" that looks so good as a page deco -- could we have that in a favicon? Would look so lean and cool on the tabs - a worthy eye-catching competitor to Wikipedia's "W". Nice work, Marty. So far, the big logo even manages to combine the ancient and modern (ala FW). -- Yatima 2009-06-16 02:33 UTC ---- I'll work on the favicon. I don't know how to make those yet. For the record, I made the green E. I sliced it out of my own b/w RWHE logo, if you remember that, then colored it green. The E points all four ways in the Wake, and there is supposedly significance to each way. I like that the blivet in Marty's logo points in an ambiguous direction. -- [http://ron.ludism.org RonHaleEvans] 2009-06-16 14:58 UTC ---- I'm awestruck. -- [http://www.eflester.com eflester] 2009-06-16 21:52 UTC ---- Where's that favicon? -- Yatima 2009-11-29 09:47 UTC ---- Do I have to make the favicon too? :) -- [http://ludism.org/tinfoil RonHaleEvans] 2010-04-04 00:07 UTC
