A very relevant issue for the the increasingly "immersive" (see Immersion )environments of many ComputerGames. BoardGames and the like have to rely on theme and how well the mechanics match the theme, and generally don't get in the way. The ultimate goal is that the player forget he is playing a game, and become completely immersed in the experience.
