A gathering of ComputerGame developers, put on by the same people who manage ["Gamasutra"] and ["Game Developer Magazine"]. It includes a fair bit of art, sound, programming, and business -- but also some very insightful information on general GameDesign. Unfortunately, the entrance fee (not even counting travel and expenses) can be rather prohibitive, especially for someone only interested in general design. Proceedings are available for purchase at ["Gamasutra"], but are once again a little pricy for what they are.
