My name is Daniel Steinbock and my homepage is at [http://www.sonic.net/~daniel]. I am a Ph.D. student at Stanford University in Learning Sciences and Technology Design. I'm interested in collective thought processes, especially those supported by computer software and network technologies. I use ["MindMap"]s extensively in my own BrainStorming, and am in the process of designing and developing a software system to explicitly support collective thought, as opposed to a discussion board or Wiki which tangentially support co-creativity and co-authorship. Ultimately such a system would enable ad hoc online think tanks.
