Hi
I promise not to mess with the rules any more this week.
Minor tweaks to the play of the game:
1) A player's turn has 3 phases a) loans, b) expansion, and c)
operate trains.
The build track/station expansion phase takes care of reaching a
goal that triggers game end. Track building is now free (stations
still cost $ to build), as I think it is too expensive to build track and
stations and expect any company to make a profit, plus all
players can use all track. Players are now forced to operate a
train route if they can - which also stimulates players to expand
to get to more profitable locations.
2) Real city variants now cover London, Paris, New York,
Edinburgh, Chicago and Amsterdam.
So for anyone planning to play over the weekend, the 0.3 version
is more balanced than the 0.2 version (I think).
For those of you who have already provided feedback it has been
invaluable for the development of the game so far. Thanks.
Happy gaming
Phillip
