Hi all... 
Here are my thoughts....

A game of the fortnight (2 weeks) cuts down on the amount of turnover
required and allows a little longer in the spot light. Each game would
eventually have a nice write up which could be accessed from the list
of games.

A set of designer profiles... This is a separate set of pages, 1 per
designer which could hold a bio, photo, and listing of designed games.
Then when a designer has 12 games, the information is duplicated all
over the place, you simply link to the designer profile page.
