Good looking game Jonathan.
But I have some questions and comments.
1) Do you ever get more then 2 dominoes in your hand? The
way you stated the rule about the initial 2 domino draw
seems to imply that you can.
2) Are the dominoes in a player's hand public? This is implied by
the trading rules, but you don't say anything about it.
3) Blank domino halves mean 0 tariff right? You should be
explicit.
4) It seems that you could get into a never ending game where
all the player's want to do is rotate a domino back and
forth (think about the six-blank.) You may want a
no-rotate back rule.
5) As there appears to be no way to change a domino once it is
placed on the board, dumping a six-six, six-five or
five-five onto a corner tiles pretty much hoses the player
that has that tile on their route. Having one of those
dominoes in your hand makes for a great bargaining threat.
6) do you have to visit your numbered tiles in order (2-5)? If not
you should explicitly say so.
7) Can your route include loops?
8) finally, if a non-declaring player (unlikely as it is) can trace
a route that contains no dominoes at all, does he then get
a route of all 2's?
