  Well, sure, I agree. I do keep a set of piecepack pyramids (hand-made by Tim in my case--a rarity which can only be obtained by winning certain competitions :-) with my piecepack, and in fact I own two sets of pyramids for playing piecepack games that require this, such as Activator (see Rules In Progress file) (shameless attempt to get people to try out my game and send feedback). 

  In this case though, I was thinking in terms of making piecepack more useful as a portable system for playing various other non-piecepack games (in addition to piecepack games), especially abstracts. Although there may be a few non-piecepack games where the pyramids would be useful, for the majority of abstracts it's more important to have a larger number of identical pieces or tokens. Therefore, I think the single most useful addition would be ten more red coins and ten more green (or blue or black if you wish) coins. This would allow the playing of any abstract game that utilizes an 8x8 board and requires up to sixteen pieces per player. The pawns would further increase the versitility, to cover games that have one "special" piece for each side, such as a king or commander, etc.
