Just FYI, my computer finally got put into the shop, and I expect to
have it back around the 7th August. When the battery on your laptop
is dead, and your AC reciprocal jack needs to be fixed, it means you
have to rely on public computers... fun. I Honestly don't expect to
be back in "regular" condition with my net usage until then.
Thankfully "Paragon" is in the Rules in Progress section, Not that I
ever officaly meant to stick to a 12 month schedule with my 12 games
this year.... let Paragon suffice for July.
On the mention of boosting membership;
I am returning to college in the fall, (after only a year hiatus),
and have plans on starting a "PIGS" group (Piecepack and Icehouse
Gaming Society) on campus. I intend to start off with members of the
already existant group Sword (Students Who Ocassionally Roll Dice)
and network with them to find a base of students for piecepack. I
know the Price is exactly right for Students... Free to 20 bucks. For
over 100 games, you cant beat that at all.
I assume we are still waiting the results of "Group Projects". I am
interested in seeing the rulesets, and knowing the winner, even if I
did not enter the contest. I hope the next contest will be announced
soon so the progress and ground covered last contest will not be a
one time occurance. I think Themeing goes a long way with new game
ideas.
