The JCDpiecepack already includes 2 star shaped images / per suit. These are
intended to be placed on either side of a disk with the same dimensions of a
coin. This is sometimes referred to as the star coin.
These star coins can be used in place of the pawns (either the paper cut outs,
pawns with the JCD pawnbelt, or simple coloured pawns that you might be
using) to provide a two state, directional pawn.
The other possible use, is to use them as pawn saucers. The following
requirements are met:
appropriately sized
have suit identification
directional markings
can be flipped upside down
It is possible that they will not meet the needs of ALL possible games to be
designed with pawn saucers in mind, due to the following limitations:
they are flat (a dexterity game may rely on saucers being button shaped)
they are not really anonymous either side up
