Thanks, I've already built a set with a kind of plastic cardboard material (don't know the name) and am trying out the games with it. But I was thinking of getting a nice wooden set from Mesomorph since my set is not so nice and doesn't work very well with the "dexterity" games...

No idea.. But if you have some patience, you can make a nice set for yourself, 
which is what a bunch of people have done. I have provided a set of
downloadable templates that you can print off onto labels and stick to the appropriately sized bits that you can buy from craft stores. Check out the 
JCDpiecepack stuff.
