Transparent piecepack?

Wouldn't it be great if someone manufactured a transparent piecepack
like the transparent decks of cards that have been appearing lately?
Only the informational part of the tile, coin, etc. (suit and value)
would be opaque; the rest of it would be transparent.
I first saw this transparent/opaque effect in the card game Gloom.
Very impressive (the effect, not the game).

I want someone to manufacture a piecepack like this, but thicker --
plexiglas? The thickness shouldn't affect the effect.
Would this sell to people who currently scorn the piecepack because it
looks rustic to them? A lucite coin for your thoughts...
