Reiner Knizia’s Decathlon
Decathlon is an exciting family dice game. It plays best with one to four players. You need eight dice and a score sheet (see below) with one column for each player.
Game idea
Decathletes are the kings of athletics. In a gruelling two day competition they run, jump and throw to prove who is the best. Only those who know how to balance the risks and chances of each discipline will make it to the top.
The principles of the game
A decathlon consists of ten independent disciplines: 100 Metres, Long Jump, Shot Put, High Jump, 400 Metres, 110 Metre Hurdles, Discus, Pole-Vault, Javelin, 1500 Metres.
