(This is actually from Ron, who is having trouble posting.)
One medium for discussion that hasn't been mentioned is comment threads on the Piecepack Wiki. For example:
http://www.ludism.org/ppwiki/Comments_on_IronPiecepackDesignerContest
However, while these are useful, I don't see them as very powerful or discoverable.
I guess I prefer a BoardGameGeek forum. I'd like to see piecepack get its own dedicated group liike the prolific Abstract Games:
https://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgamesubdomain/4666/abstract-games
If the admins do want a dedicated group, that would cost 10 geekgold. I can pay for it if necessary. But I'm not sure what a dedicated group would offer that the original piecepack page wouldn't::
https://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/2860/piecepack
Plus, that page already has a lot of linked piecepack material, such as rules, images, geeklists, etc. And forums, of course.
If we do go this route, I suggest we download the Yahoo messages and files and save them there.
