= Rummy Type Game = In a Rummy Type Game, a player's turn typically consists of drawing a card into his or her hand from either the face-down deck or the face-up discard pile, possibly playing a sought-after set of said cards from his or her hand, and then discarding a card. A round usually ends when one player is out of cards. Those players still holding cards are penalized. By careful observation, one can determine which discarded cards are likely to be of use to the next player and should therefore be held as long as possible.
