Hi, everyone
I just uploaded a ruleset in progress to the files (guilds.doc).
This is an economic game for 3-4 players set in a medieval city
where players' merchants buy and sell raw materials and
finished goods to clearing houses, businesses and guild
houses. The game includes a straightforward stock exchange
model and a simple mechanic where businesses turn raw
materials into finished goods.
Additional components required are printouts of the city, the
market, and printouts of the play mats (all in the rules), as well
as something to represent money, like pennies. [No kitchen
matches required for this one!!]
This is still an early version, so some of the numbers may be off
(like starting gold, the 'speed' of the merchant wagons, payment
for wagon upgrades, trading bonuses and final bonuses).
As always, if anyone has any comments I'm all ears.
Phillip
