I also have an order that was supposed to be sent by him (an now a lovely set from a different source). This was many months ago. I only got a response from him after bugging one of his many instant messaging accounts. Guess I should update my address in case he sends anything.
This, and Mesomorph got me my game stuff out the same day I ordered it, and in my hands the next business day. (Thanks, Karol!) Granted, I live in Portland OR (which, for whatever reason, has the best mail service anywhere), but it was nice to have my stuff in my hands the next day to play with.
I reiterate: I know people want to be fair, but it would appear that Toren is not serious about running a reliable, reputable business, and should be removed from the Piecepack vendors page posthaste. Simply adding a note seems punitive, and airing our "dirty laundry" in public. Much more appropriate to just drop it entirely.
On that note, I am seriously considering working with a plastics manufacturer to make an inexpensive plastic version of Piecepack. The Mesomorph set is real nice (one again, thanks guys!), but a bit pricey for an introductory set. Something comparably priced to the Icehouse Pyramids that could be bought one suit at a time, perhaps as an impulse item at a game store. Anybody have any thoughts?
