1.1. Mailing list

One of the best places to learn about the art and science of memory techniques, or "mnemotechnics", is the [WWW]Art of Memory mailing list.

The [WWW]World Wide Brain Club mailing list is another excellent place to find out about memory techniques.

Susan Wagner Cook ... showing that even abstract gestures can enhance learning ... Those in the two groups that were taught the gestures were three times as likely to solve the equations correctly than were those who had learned only the verbal instructions ... gesturing is causing an improvement in learning ..."

Is that why we were taught "sit still and don't fidget" in school?

Is this related to LimbicStimulation and PhysioArithmetics, or something entirely different? -- -- ?DavidCary 2007-09-20 15:55:04
