# 5 Comments. # Does anyone know what the name of the "public domain game" is that this is based on? I cannot find any game under the same name.

Pachisi or some variant, perhaps.

Based on games variously named Jokers and Marbles, Marbles and Jokers, Jokers and Pegs, or Pegs and Jokers. Commercial versions are available but it is often played on home-crafted boards. The game is similar Parcheesi.

Thanks Craig for the description! FYI on this wiki you're allowed (encouraged even) to make edits to any articles of your own game (and wiki etiquette seems to be that users create/control the article that corresponds to their name if they want that page to exist).

This game does not appear in the page RequiredEquipment under "playing cards"
