Description

The family friendly Ludo is a 19th century derivative of the 6th century Indian race game Pachisi.

Uckers is a more complicated Ludo derivative played by the British navy that may be more fun for adults to play. It basically uses the same setup as Ludo.
PieceChisi and JokersAndCoins are two other piecepack derivatives of Pachisi. They require extra equipment beyond a standard piecepack.
Although technically possible to directly adapt Pachisi do a single piecepack the more modern Ludo derivative allows for a cleaner adaption (i.e. no need to simulate cowrie shells tosses).
