### 7 Comments. ### Does anyone have decent photos of the canonical piecepack/Icehouse way of playing Alien City? The only photos we have right now are of John Braley's purpose-built set that uses neither piecepack nor Icehouse. The photos should have a Creative Commons (or compatible) license. Thanks. -- [http://ron.ludism.org RonHaleEvans] 2010-03-25 07:56 UTC ---- Feel free to use the ones I posted on BGG: http://boardgame.geekdo.com/image/312654/alien-city http://boardgame.geekdo.com/image/312656/alien-city --JorgeArroyo -- [http://george.makasoft.net JorgeArroyo] 2010-03-25 16:32 UTC ---- The rules don't contain any license information. Where is the custom license text coming from? -- [https://blog.selfthinker.org/ selfthinker] 2019-07-13 19:53 UTC ---- selfthinker: See version 1.2 of the rules: https://web.archive.org/web/2016/http://www.piecepack.org/rules/AlienCity.pdf -- [http://ron.ludism.org Ron Hale-Evans] 2019-07-13 20:09 UTC ---- Ah, that's good to know, thanks. It's better to be careful with licenses and try to find the definite source. -- [https://blog.selfthinker.org/ selfthinker] 2019-07-13 22:52 UTC ---- Actually, strictly speaking this means that the older versions had that custom license and the latest version has none. I wonder if that was intentional. It will probably be better to point that out somewhere. (I might ask in the game's BGG forum.) -- [https://blog.selfthinker.org/ selfthinker] 2019-07-14 08:21 UTC ---- I don't know what's happened to the Schoessow brothers. I haven't seen them online in quite a while. -- [http://ron.ludism.org RonHaleEvans] 2019-07-19 20:21 UTC
