### 8 Comments. ### A couple questions/comments/suggestions: # If you roll a Null can you obscure the coins (e.g. place behind your back) so your opponent won't know whether you swapped them or not? # Could you please specify which Creative Commons license "which coin" is released under? A hundred piecepack games including your other piecepack games are licensed under the [https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/ Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International] license... # I think the ruleset would look better if you updated your suits in the diagram to either **blue** fleur-de-lis or red **suns** to match the "standard" piecepack suits. # Proofreading suggestions: "equal to number rolled" should be "equal to **the** number rolled" and "The pawn an also move" should be "The pawn **can** also move". # ["JulGonu"], ["Quatri"], and Tic-tac-toe were the only other "quarterpack" (adaptable) games I could find (doing a very, very brief search). -- TrevorLDavis 2021-05-07 03:55 UTC ---- 1. Yes you can conceal the coins as decide to swap or not swap before placing them back. 2. Added to bottom the pdf. I was wondering is there a public domain license. 3. Agree, updated. 4. Thanks, fixed. 5. Thanks. Looking more closely JulGonu and Quarti need 8 coins to play. -- Anonymous 2021-05-08 19:08 UTC ---- Thanks, the updated version looks good! 2. There is the [https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/ CC0 1.0 Universal Public Domain Dedication]. In between the "copyleft" CC BY-SA 4.0 license and the "public domain" CC0 license is the "permissive" [https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International] license. 5. Instead of 8 coins (4 coins each from two suits) you could adapt ["Quatri"] and JulGonu for the quarterpack by doing four **unsuited** pieces (four coin faces) versus four **suited** pieces (two coin backs, the pawn, and the die). I also noticed that ChangeChange can be adopted for the quarterpack as well (four tile backs, four coin backs, two coin faces, one pawn all as different ChangeChange "coins"). There are apparently role-playing games [https://www.reddit.com/r/rpg/comments/b7du09/rpg_systems_that_use_a_single_d6_for_resolution/ that use only a single d6 for resolution] that could maybe be adapted somehow. My four-year-old son humored me and finished a full game of ["which coin"] following all the rules (which is an accomplishment). He then immediately "stole" the piecepack and excitedly proceeded to setup and invent a new game that he wanted (to teach) daddy to play. I might try to play ["which coin"] again with him later at some point, going around and sneakily peaking at / swapping coins seems like something that could appeal to him. I did notice that if you roll low (i.e. aces and twos) there can be turns where not much seems to happen (from a 4-year-old's perspective). His favorite game right now is two-player ("I Spy") Go Fish where he gets at least one new card every turn... -- TrevorLDavis 2021-05-09 05:25 UTC ---- As far as 1d6 RPGs go, you're forgetting ConsensusFantasy, the piecepack roleplaying game, and its ancestors, [https://www.ludism.org/mgwiki/HomePage Matrix Games]! š -- [https://ron.ludism.org RonHaleEvans] 2021-05-09 17:01 UTC ---- > As far as 1d6 RPGs go, you're forgetting ConsensusFantasy, the piecepack roleplaying game Oops, my bad! I should have remembered that. The asymmetrical number of pieces in the quarterpack (6 coins versus 1 pawn) may suggest a miniu "Tafl" game or "Fox" game but I'm not sure what mini variants (if any) already exist. "Fox and Hounds" only needs 5 pieces but uses an 8x8 board. -- TrevorLDavis 2021-05-09 21:54 UTC ---- We need a QuarterPack page! -- [https://ron.ludism.org RonHaleEvans] 2021-05-10 16:33 UTC ---- Iām not the kind of person who writes long reviews, but this time I wanted to share what happened to me about a decent hit at an online casino. Iāve been spending some time at nllalabet.com, mostly after work and with low bets. I signed up because the intro bonus looked pretty good and the wagering conditions seemed reasonable compared to many other online casinos. The registration process was straightforward: basic details and email confirmation, then I was ready to deposit. For my initial deposit I didnāt go crazy and put a small amount into my balance. I started with the video slots because thatās what I usually play. I looked for most played games and picked a slot with free spins and multipliers, hoping for a big hit. At first it was a small rollercoaster: small wins and losses and bonus rounds that paid almost nothing, and I was about to quit because my balance was slowly dropping. Then luck turned around: I hit a high-paying feature with multipliers all over the screen, the slot kept connecting wins and the multiplier skyrocketed my balance way up. For me it was a big boost compared to my usual stakes. I didnāt try to push my luck; after a few more test spins I decided to quit while ahead and send a cashout. The withdrawal process was pretty standard: the casino asked me to complete KYC with some ID. I sent everything within an hour, and the verification was approved after a short wait. After that the money was transferred to my payment method and I received it in a decent timeframe. Iām not saying this casino is perfect, and of course you can also bust your balance, but in this case my experience was mostly good: transparent rules, decent support and no drama with the withdrawal. This is not a recommendation to gamble: there is always a risk in gambling, so only gamble with spare money and donāt rely on it as income. -- [https://nllalabet.com/ lalabetHance] 2025-12-12 17:28 UTC ---- Seasoned player here, and I have spent several years in online casinos. I learned discipline through profits and losses. Patience became my main rule. Quick wins rarely work. Experience always matters. Recently I had a solid run while playing digitally. I used my standard strategy. Bet sizes stayed controlled. The balance started climbing. It felt deserved. Chance was only a small part here lalabetlogin.com. After the result, I stayed calm. I checked the terms and conditions. The payout process was clean. Money arrived properly. That moment confirmed my method. Control once again paid off. I share this as a honest example. This is not hype. Online wins are possible. They require time. Careful play beats emotion. Steady thinking brings progress. -- [https://lalabetlogin.com/ laurice] 2025-12-19 14:03 UTC
