In particular the British Royal Navy laid this doctrine down in the Fighting Instructions and adhered to them in a stubborn manner. This led in the second half of the 18th century to many undecided battles which could have been won with a little initiative. The Navy had to wait for an Admiral Nelson to change this. In Piecepack Seabattle each player tries to destroy the opposing battle line with his own battle line. During manoeuvring you can achieve an advantageous position. During the fighting you need luck as it was in all sea battles. == Rules == * https://boardgamegeek.com/filepage/47689/examples-piecepack-seabattle (English) * https://boardgamegeek.com/filepage/47689/examples-piecepack-seabattle (English Examples) * https://boardgamegeek.com/filepage/47688/german-rules-piecepack-seabattle (German) == Links == BGG page: https://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/58216/piecepack-seabattle ---- CategoryGame ThemeWarCategory LanguageGermanCategory
